INTERNATIONAL CODE COUNCIL

The NHHBA is a member of the International Code Council (ICC).

The mission of the ICC is to promulgate a comprehensive and compatible regulatory system for the built environment, through consistent performance-based regulations that are effective, efficient and meet government, industry and public needs.

In 2006 New Hampshire adopted the IRC 2000 as the state-wide residential building code for one and two family dwellings. Since that time the State Building Code (including the Energy Code) has been updated to the 2009 codes.

ICC books are now available at reduced rates for members through the NHHBA.
